22 men arrive at a 2 ½ star hotel just off of I-95 for their 17th annual re-enactment of a notorious 1985 professional football play when Lawrence Taylor of the New York Giants sacked Washington Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann, fracturing the tibia and fibula of his right leg and ending his career. Bachelder's slightly twisted take on fantasy football gradually reveals itself to be a fascinating and gentle exploration of the rules and regulations that shape mature male life.
