Come celebrate Pride at the Wallingford Public Library! Join us on Friday nights this June for a three-part film series centering LGBTQIA experiences. We will feature the 2018 romantic comedy Love, Simon (PG-13) on June 7, the 2023 documentary Every Body (R) on June 14, and the 2018 Kenyan drama Rafiki (unrated) on June 21. With this series, we wish to showcase stories that bring awareness to the vast history, challenges, triumphs and dreams of those who identify as Queer. Audience members are invited to take part in a short discussion following each film. All are welcome; no registration is required! #Librariesareforeveryone

Love, Simon: Everyone deserves a great love story, but for 17-year-old Simon Spier, it's a little more complicated. He hasn't told his family or friends that he's gay, and he doesn't know the identity of the anonymous classmate that he's fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, terrifying and life-changing. Based on the 2015 YA novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli.
