When a woman arrives at an ancient site in the Iraqi desert to nurse the wife of a celebrated archaeologist, she finds her patient suffering from bizarre visions and nervous terror, and then a member of the research team is murdered. Fall 2022: Digging for Clues
Archeologists attempt to solve mysteries from the past, but sometimes they become involves in contemporary mysteries as well. Agatha Christie, whose second husband was the British archeologist Max Mallowan, once said, "An archeologist is the best husband any woman can get. Just consider: The older she gets, the more he is interested in her." Of course, in Christie's day, most of the professional archeologists were male; not so in this series.
