IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL MEETING
The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach
At a small Midwestern college, Henry Skrimshander is a star baseball player. But when his routine throw goes disastrously wrong, Henry's self-doubt threatens to ruin his future. Meanwhile, the college president has fallen in love, his daughter has unexpectedly returned to town, Henry's roommate is caught up in a dangerous affair and the team captain, who is Henry's best friend, realizes that he has guided Henry's career at the expense of his own. Harbach's debut is a warmhearted look at ambition and its limits, at family, at friendship, at commitment and at love.
