Join Jane Fisher, Library Director and certified instructor, for this transformative workshop series! Guided Autobiography is a process used for remembering, writing, and organizing your life stories. We will create a supportive and safe space to be with your memories and life stories. No prior writing experience is necessary. This is not a technical writing class, a genealogy course, or a chronological accounting of your life. Instead we focus on the content and telling of your stories.

How It Works: Our small group will meet weekly for 8 sessions and explore a variety of life themes. Between group sessions, we will write our life stories using the week’s theme as a prompt. Then, when we meet as a group, we will share two pages of the story we wrote with our group. Each group member will receive equal time to share and receive encouragement.

Where and When: We’ll meet in the Wallingford Public Library’s Board Room on the following Fridays from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm:
February 3, 10, 17, 24
March 3, 17, 24, 31 (no meeting on March 10)

Registration is required and space is limited. Register on Feb 3rd date for the seriesParticipants must be able to attend all of the sessions. Please do not register if you have already attended a Guided Autobiography I workshop series.
