Program Description

Event Details

The Choate Mentorship Project intends to strengthen foundational learning practices of students in public middle schools. Our mission is to increase the educational access and networking opportunities that students have by offering 1:1 mentorship with a current Choate student. Choate students will engage with these middle school students through the use of the following resources: homework help, weekly academic lessons, social-emotional support and connection, executive functioning guidance, book and school supply access through material donations, secondary school application tutorials, and more.

The Mentorship Project is open to all Moran and Dag students and sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 4-5pm (see below for full schedule). Parents will be responsible for transportation to and from the library. We hope that through their interactions in the Mentorship Project, students will form stronger learning habits that will ultimately expand their educational and even professional opportunities in the immediate and farther future.
