Turtles are in trouble. Regarded until recently as indestructible, they are now the most endangered group of vertebrates on the planet. Anthony Pierlioni is the Senior Director of theTurtleRoom, an international organization of conservationists who work to ensure that endangered species don't go extinct. Several of the turtles he rehabilitates are already extinct in the wild and only exist today because of these efforts. You will have the chance to meet these incredible creatures, learn more about Anthony's family conservation work right here in Wallingford, and how that work takes impact around the globe.
