VIRTUAL & IN-PERSON EVENT

Join Connecticut’s own Stonewall Speakers to learn how you can be a better ally to the LGBTQ+ community! You will learn what allies are, develop competency around terminology, hear the experiences of LGBTQ+ people, and learn what ally behaviors to deploy in every situationin the workplace, at home, with friends, and more. Transgender allies are especially needed at this time, so we will spend a good amount of time talking about how to be a trans ally.

Stonewall Speakers, a program of the Connecticut Stonewall Foundation, Inc., is an all-volunteer speaker's bureau composed of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, pansexual, queer people and their allies. Our speakers give their hearts, time and travel expenses to help eliminate hate and promote understanding. Speaking engagements generally include two or more panelists and combine personal life stories with a question and answer session. We speak to thousands of youth and adults annually. Stonewall Speakers is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We were founded in 1988.
