Join us for a film that celebrates the stories, dreams, and experiences of the Latin American community! On the second Friday evening of the month, the Wallingford Public Library & Spanish Community of Wallingford (SCOW) co-host a movie night that centers Latine characters and culture. No registration is required!

Our November 8th feature is Real Women Have Curves (PG-13, 2002), starring America Ferrara and Lupe Ontiveros. The film follows a first-generation Mexican-American girl who wants to go away to college but must battle against the views of her parents, who think she should stay at home and provide for the family. As a compromise, she works with her mother over the summer and learns some important lessons about life, helping her make a decision about her future.

All are welcome. No registration is required!
