Join us for a screening by the Gray-Wulff Environmental Series as we celebrate National Earth Week! The documentary film A River Speaks is an exploration of the Mill River, a small river that runs through New Haven County. More broadly, it is an examination of humanity’s complex relationship with nature. We love our rivers, but we treat them terribly, poisoning them with sewage, industrial waste, herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers. And when we poison our rivers, we poison ourselves. The film serves as an inspiration, a warning, and a call to action. Following the 30-minute screening, filmmaker Steve Hamm will hold a Q&A/discussion with the audience. Please sign up below!
