Event Details

Everyone knows that this year’s election is a big historical moment. Marc Lendler will discuss significant shifts in voting patterns among those who participated in the 2024 election. What role did Trump’s legal difficulties play? What new trends emerged in states that might indicate a lasting switch in party affiliation? And what about the biggest issues: the economy and the border? Finally, was there one main thing that determined the outcome of the presidential election?

Marc Lendler is a Wallingford resident and political scientist who taught American Government at Smith College for 25 years, including courses on national elections.  He has given a series of talks at the Wallingford Library on election results & other topics.

This is a hybrid program; patrons have the option of attending in-person at the library or virtually on Zoom. Registration is required - please sign up below!
